Incredibly cozy café in which charm and cosiness are not lost even with a hygiene concept. In addition, super friendly service and delicious cakes. I'm looking forward to the next visit after the lockdown.

Fantastic!!.....there is a lift, if the stairs in not an option....a mighty cafe and coffee...I had a hot chocolate with ´zimt´´..an ´LPG´ cake...the room is fantastic...if you can make a reseveration...and you have to have a mask on getting there..and to get in.

In times of "Corona" unfortunately not to be recommended at all! The few large tables are partly occupied by only one person and the rest of the people wait close together in a queue in the anteroom ? There are better alternatives, even in Meiningen, where the operators have given more thought!

... is listed in good travel guides as “Germany's most beautiful baroque café” for a reason. An impressive and cozy ambience as well as friendly and attentive service. The selection of cakes and tarts is typical of the region and very tasty. Very good price / performance ratio. In the entrance area you can deal with the history and the complex restoration of the Hessensaal. When visiting the theater city of Meiningen, this café should be planned.

Splendor .. Nice cafe

A real gem. A beautiful baroque café in the castle of Meiningen. Planned as a ballroom but never used as such. Today a nice cafe with fresh homemade cake. Every guest in Meiningen is strongly recommended to visit !!!

Uiuiui ... The little cafe in the tower is a real eye-catcher! Great views, class ambience as well as an extensive cafe / tee, ice cream and cake menu are waiting to be discovered here among other things. Fast service and delicious cheesecake (yes, unfortunately you can mess up, but not here) give 5 stars, with all the trimmings. P.S .: the metallic, to the left of the tower is an elevator, through which one almost reaches the tower cafe. (for all persons who are not well on foot anymore, but NOT for wheelchairs)

Ambiance is great, but service was only briefly to serve at another table. There were only 3 tables occupied. We left after 20 minutes without consumption. Restaurant in the yard is much faster and also has a larger selection!

Homemade cakes and pies, delicious, great view of Meiningen .....

Great atmosphere, uniquely beautiful. Wide selection of drinks and food including delicious homemade cakes and pies. Also cheap. And friendly courteous staff. Always worth a visit. But maybe better reserve before.

Beautiful ambience, delicious products, friendly and quick service, what more could your heart want The cafe is located in the spire and offers great ambience in a historic setting - Europe's most beautiful baroque cafe. Elevator almost to the top. However, the last floor must be run over a staircase, as structurally not possible otherwise. Therefore not suitable for disabled people. Great products, delicious and appealing, as well as the creative table decoration. A place to relax and dream. However, especially at the weekend very crowded, so if necessary reserve on time. Parking at the castle and in the surrounding area, partly for a fee. Tip: visit the castle (Elisabethenburg) - with guided tour.

Nice view over Meiningen! After having a cup of coffee, a visit to the museum below is worthwhile!

This is a cultural and of course great food with friendly staff and very good food and drinks at great prices, a highlight in Thuringia

The pies and cakes are a poem. The service friendly and fast. You can feel like a gentleman in this wonderful coffee

It’s beautiful there. (The cafe is in an ancestral hall that was never really finished) After a museum tour you can go up by elevator or up the stairs or you can just come here with family or friends. It is really worth it because there are fair prices, nice service and a really nice view

Really nice coffee in a nice and big castle. The hall was originally an ancestral hall which was not completed but was extremely beautiful nonetheless.
